〜ながら — while doing
V-ながら
Two actions done at the same time by the same person. Verb stem + ながら; the main action is the final verb.
Notes
- The main action is the last verb
- Both actions must share one subject
Example sentences
音楽を聞きながら勉強します。
I study while listening to music.
歩きながらスマホを見てはいけません。
You must not look at your phone while walking.
